Position: Instructional Designer

As a member of the Production team, you will work alongside a team of designers and production coordinators to create eLearning and virtual reality simulation content for the skilled trades industry.

This is a fully remote position.

What you'll do:
  • Work alongside a team of designers and production coordinators to create eLearning and virtual reality simulation content for the skilled trades industry
  • Work with trade SME's to develop and review content
  • Scriptwriting for online courses
  • Video creation and production
  • Build eLearning course structures
  • Create user assessments

Who you are:
  • Collaborative, continuous learner
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to interview SME's and translate into learning content
  • Interest in VR, gaming and adult learning

Requirements:
  • Degree in Instructional Design or related field (completed or in progress)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of learning theory (ADDIE, SAM) and competency based learning
  • Video Production and Editing Experience (Camtasia)
  • Software proficiency in programs such as Articulate and Captivate
  • Portfolio to showcase your projects (professional, academic or self-directed)
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
